The Final Chapter
The time has come to end the story of the grass. It has now grown far out of the cup, and it is clear that it needs to be set free back to its home. I have decided to set the grass free in the same patch of ground that I originally dug the soil from. The grass can then grow free without restraint or barrier the way nature intended. Below are the final pictures of the grass and its many friends.
As you can see the grass is now grown far beyond the cup. It is difficult to tell which was the original grass seed and which are his friends.
Here is the cup of grass awaiting its new home which is the hole dug in the lower left corner of the picture. A glass of water is on hand to help the grass adjust to its new home.
A little water is added to the hole first.
The grass is out of the cup, and ready to be planted.
The grass in the ground, getting its last drink of water from the glass.
An aerial view of the empty cup, the glass of water, and the trowel. The grass can be seen a little to the left and down from the center of the image.
And so the grass was placed from whence it came, with a nice view of the yard and plenty of sunshine and a little shade. It is free to live as nature intended all her flora and fauna to live. Wild, indepenedent, and free.
