Meanwhile X was battling Wheel Gator, Overdrive Ostridge, Flame Stag, Morph Moth, Crusher, Agile, Serges, SIGMA, Violen, Crystal Snail, and Wire Sponge. X powered up a super shot and blasted Morph Moth with so much power it destroyed Morph Moth in one hit. The blast was so powerful Morph Moth was turned to dust in one hit. Then X powered up another shot and killed Flame Stag. At the sudden Wire Sponge then thought of an idea. "Hey Agile! Don't you still have Zero's sword?" After being reminded of the sword, Agile pulled it out and managed to knock out Mega Man X in one slash. Agile then said "Thanks for the idea Sponge. Now Sigma you said we were going to reprogram him?" Sigma the answered "Yes but first we should get to base. then you can do all the tinkering you like."
