ALANIA
Alania is a peaceful and well educated country in the north east of the Island of LODOSS, its capital is Alan city. One of the first two kingdoms invaded my BELD and his MARMO forces its main defence being the Myse Fort in the south commanded by CAPTAIN JAILBRA. At the start of the series Alania is home to most of the heroes.
Flaim is a recently created country is the barren deserts of northern LODOSS. It was created by its present ruler KING KASHUE the warrior king who united the northern tribes. Full of fierce fighters and led by a great general Flaim is one of the greater challenges to BELDs conquest of LODOSS.
Forceria is the name of the world on which LODOSS rests with the continents of ARRAYCRUST and CRYSTANIA and who knows what other lands.
Separated from the greater continent by MARFA the earth goddess with her last power to safeguard the rest of the continent.
The spirits of both goddesses watch over the lands of Lodoss and MARMO even in death and greatly influence the fate of the land.
This island off the south coast Of LODOSS sends a shiver down the spine of those ho hear its name. The Resting place for the spirit of the evil goddess KARDIS it is a gathering place for evil monsters such as KOBOLDS and GNOLLS. Rules with an iron hand by the emperor BELD who used to be one of the great heroes of LODOSS but was corrupted by its evil aura. It is Belds invasion of LODOSS that triggers the events of the series.
