Talk about a dark presence, VINCENT sends chills down the toughest persons spine. A mystical man, stern and upright while at the same time dark and mysterious, with a good soul trapped beneath his dark exterior. His past connection with SHINRA INC. is what made him join CLOUD and the others. He may seem frail at first glance but inside his body lurks a fearsome power.

Vincent is a strong fighter, much like BARRET. He's also quite contempt with materia and makes good use of it from the back row. His limit break attacks are powerful, but sometimes unpredictable. Once he transforms, you'll no longer be able to control VINCENT. Make sure you're familiar with your enemies strengths and weaknesses before VINCENT transforms, or you may end up helping your enemies more than hurting them. VINCENT will not join your party on his own.

To find VINCENT look in the basement of SHINRA MANSION, but first unlock the safe on the top floor and fight the boss, LOST NUMBER. You'll find the basement key after winning. Unlock the door an talk to VINCENT, whose in the center coffin. Tell him about Sephiroth and he'll return to sleep, wake him again and get him to tell you his name. He'll go back o sleep again, but on your way out of SHINRA MANSION, he'll stop you and join your team.

VINCENT transforms into a purple beast with horns that attacks with fire-based attacks

VINCENT transforms into a frankinstein creature that attacks with lightning elemental attacks.

GIGA DUNK:

Single enemy attack

LIVE WIRE:

Attacks an entire group

Level 3;

HELL MASKER;

VINCENT transforms into a chainsaw maniac, fights ith his weapon or status effects.

SPLATTER COMBO:

Single enemy attack

NIGHTMARE:

Single enemy status attack

Level 4;

CHAOS;

VINCENT transforms into a huge winged demon and uses attacks that are not elemental based so he won't suddenly heal opponents.

CHAOS SABER:

Similar to SLASH-ALL materia

STAN SLAM:

Attacks an entire group.

After aquiring the submarine or a gold chocobo you can reach LUCRECIA's CAVE which is located behind the waterfall at a lagoon in the NIBEL area. Visit the cave with VINCENT in your party during DISK 2, then during DISK 3 revisit the cave with VINCENT to retrieve his CHAOS limit break.

After getting a gold chocobo or the submarine make your way to LUCRECIA's CAVE just as you do for the limit break level 4. Make sure you have VINCENT in your PARTY
