CINCINNATI SCHOLASTIC CHESS SERIES #2

Just one tournament left! The finale is at Sycamore HS on March 7th!
Everyone please come in entrance/exit #2 at Sycamore High School. That's in the back (away from Cornell Road) on the Northwest corner of the building; it's closest to the playing rooms we'll be using (the same ones we used last year). That entrance is also the one farthest from the Montgomery Road side of the building (and farthest from the swimming pool/gymnasium). There is an art show going on in the gym and a "pancake day" fundraiser for the orchestra going on in the cafeteria, so we'll want to stay down in our end of the building! The address for SHS is 7400 Cornell Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45242.

Participants can view the standings for both individuals and teams alike (through February 7th, 2009).
A more thorough breakdown by section and by each tournament is also available here.
It's not too late to register! Here are the details for season two, and this brochure will help answer any questions.

On April 25th, I plan on running the first ever city-wide high school chess team championship! Still working on a site, though. Note that the winning team from the Cincinnati Scholastic Chess Series will receive an automatic invitation to this new city-wide championship!
