This page contains information on the Crystal Gauntlets quest. This quest can only be performed by Martial Artists, because only Martial Artists can get into the Ninja lair.
Preliminary Information
This is a complicated quest, requiring several steps. To complete the quest, you must get a red cloth and a buddha, both are tied items and found in different places. Before you begin the quest, you must speak to Yuri. Yuri is located in the SW corner of Oakvael surface. Once she trains you, you may complete the quest.
Getting the Red Cloth
The first item to try to get is the Red Cloth, which will be given to you by Konran, but only after you safely lead him home. Konran is located on the Troll Temple level of Oakvael, in the northwest corner behind a secret door. He is sometimes hard to find because many people try to lead him home. Once you find him, say "Konran, follow me" so that he will follow you, then slowly lead him back up to the surface. Konran is very weak, so you must protect him from all monsters you encounter as best you can. If you manage to lead him back to the surface, take him to town and lead him to the house just southwest of where the priest and Thaum trainer are located. Then, he will thank you and drop a red cloth. Take this and put it in your locker.
Getting the Buddha
After getting the red cloth, you must get the Buddha that is found on Shidosha, the ninja master. The Ninjas are located in Leng, under the mausoleum. To find them, go to a secret door behind the statue and go down 2 floors. Then, go to the middle stable in the stable room and find a secret door. Move west a little ways, and you will see a hex on your north that has a pile of bones on it. Go on there, and you will be teleported to the lair. Once inside the lair, there will be several ninjas wandering the walkways on the way to Shidosha. Once you reach Shidosha, kill him and take the buddha found on his body. Now you are ready to complete the quest.
Completing the Quest
Now that you have both items, take both of them to Puck, who is located above Leng town. You can find his house by taking the staircase located southwest of the bank. Once you find Puck, drop both items on his hex and say "Puck, train me". If everything was completed correctly, you will receive your Crystal Gauntlets!
