Lord Vicari enlisted in the military at the age of 15, and has loyally served Roesone for the past 38 years. In public, he is soft-spoken and appears almost timid. At the same time, he is a courageous and sacrificing leader. His troops are totally loyal to him--a point of concern for the political leaders of Roesone. However, Lord Vicari has never given any reason for concern, as he has repeatedly refused to enter into politics.
He has a keen military mind. Under his leadership, the Roesone military has grown form a handful of soldiers to a recognized army. Additionally, he has been the driving force behind the creation of the Roesone Navy.
Lord Vicari has pondered retirement, but was convinced by the former
regent to keep his current position given the existing tensions between
Roesone and its neighbors. He is an attractive, middle-aged man.
His hair is gray, and pulled back into a ponytail. He wears a full
beard and mustache, which gives him a rather distinguished look.
He is tall (6’1”) and of muscular build (200 lb.). Despite his age,
he is in peak physical condition.
In her youth, Jasmina was a wandering adventurer. Her party, comprised primarily of elves, was slain in a battle against the goblins of the Spiderfell. Seeing the usefulness of holding a true mage, the goblins took Jasmina captive and held her for 15 years, until she was rescued by soldiers from Roesone.
Since then, she has served as the Court Wizard for Roesone. She is intensely loyal to the country, but is not afraid to tell the regent what she thinks--honestly and pointedly. As a result of her imprisonment, Jasmina has an intense hatred for goblinkind. She has consistently advocated a more militaristic posture towards the Spiderfell.
Jasmina is hot-tempered and moody, but quick to forgive. She is
extremely perceptive and intelligent. Her black hair is generally
worn long. She wears black robes which hide her face, giving her
a mysterious appearance. She is a wild mage.
Although a Vos, Vasili was raised in Roesone. His parents felt to the South to escape the expansion of the Gorgon in the North. His parents are still living in Roesone, working as farmers in Edlin.
From a young age, Vasili knew he was destined for a career in politics. Farming held no interest for him, and he always thought of himself as too weak for adventuring. Instead, he studied the arts of diplomacy, etiquette and espionage.
His efforts were rewarded twenty years ago, when the former regent hired him as part of his diplomatic corps. Since then, Vasili has risen through the ranks to become one of Roesone’s most intelligent and valuable advisors on matters of state.
Vasili is quite but calculating. He does not let anyone cross
him without paying, thus earning himself a reputation as a powerful force
in the politics of the state. He is a small man, only 5’2” tall.
He is very sensitive about his height. His hair is brown and cut
short. He is always clean shaven, and generally wears black.
