Remember to hit reload every day or else the new card may not load!

Check out my handy-dandy archive list organizer! You can find this table at the top of the list that is sorted by color, and at the very bottom of the page.

BLACK BLUE GREEN RED WHITE ARTIFACT GOLD LAND

Due to an unexpected limitation in the amount of files that can be stored in a given directory at Geocities, all of my links to old cards of the day can only be accessed through this main page. I had plenty of extra work to do as soon as I found this "glitch". If any of the links on the list sorted by color aren't working, let me know. Chris

In this web page, I hope to present to you strategies, combos, and obscure uses for a new Magic: The Gathering card every single day.

The Card of the Day is...

Mistfolk

Ice Age Common
UU Summon Mistfolk

1/2
"U: Counter target spell that targets Mistfolk. Play this ability as an interrupt."

Mistfolk are interesting creatures---able to defend themselves against most peril for just one blue mana (pumpable). They do run into the occasional Wrath of God now and then, but most of the time the Mistfolk are fairly safe from harm until they get into combat. 1/2 for two blue mana sucks by itself. I've used Mistfolk as an excuse to play with really cool yet dangerously expensive and unreliable creature enchantments. You know them...all of those pricey Enchant Creature spells that you might noramlly deem unpratical. You squander your mana to play this mighty spell on your most fierce warrior only to see the freshly enchanted warrior Terrored or plowed (or bolted or Fireballed or Dark Banished or Repentanced or .....) Try some of these combos on Mistfolk for a fun time:
