Remember to hit reload every day or else the new card may not load!

Check out my handy-dandy archive list organizer! You can find this table at the top of the list that is sorted by color, and at the very bottom of the page.

BLACK BLUE GREEN RED WHITE ARTIFACT GOLD LAND

Due to an unexpected limitation in the amount of files that can be stored in a given directory at Geocities, all of my links to old cards of the day can only be accessed through this main page. I had plenty of extra work to do as soon as I found this "glitch". If any of the links on the list sorted by color aren't working, let me know. Chris

In this web page, I hope to present to you strategies, combos, and obscure uses for a new Magic: The Gathering card every single day.

The Card of the Day is...

Fire Diamond

Mirage Uncommon
2 Artifact

"Fire Diamond comes into play tapped.
T: Add R to your mana pool. Play this ability as a mana source."

When are the Mirage diamonds a good choice for some extra mana? A few situations for sure. Since they're artifacts, they can fit into any deck. If you need just a splash of red in a deck, Fire Diamond might be better to use than a red mana producing land. The diamonds are also competant at speeding up mana production for the "middle" turns of a game. At the speed of one mana (land) per turn with no other mana producing cards, you'll have a ready to use Fire Diamond and 3 lands on during your third turn's main phase. Not a bad little just start. Fire Diamond is also a good choice for non-land mana production. There are so many excuses to put a splash of red in a deck (justifying use of Fire Diamond), I'm not going into that tonight. Instead, I'll list some ideas based around the other two concepts:
