I've always thought Obsianus Golem is a fair card. I know I still have a few of them floating around in a few various decks. If you think about it, Redwood Treefolk are 3/6 and cost 4G. I once read (and mostly believe in simple situations) that one colored mana is equivalent to two generic mana when computing how much a particular spell should cost. This is a simple comparison, and Redwood Treefolk themselves a clear better to Ironroot Treefolk. By those standards, isn't Obsianus a decent deal then? I still wouldn't want to weight a deck down too much with more than two per deck in most cases, unless you're maybe going for the artifact creature deck thing.
