Thank you Peppermint Pig for your contributions. This page has a fresh look all of a sudden.
"The enemy has captured your flag." Quake computer phrase I hear just a little too often.

In this web page, I hope to present to you strategies, combos, and obscure uses for a new Magic: The Gathering card every single day.

The Card of the Day is...

Shauku, Endbringer

Mirage Rare

5BB Summon Legend

5/5
Flying
"Shauku, Endbringer cannot attack if there is another creature in play.
During your upkeep, lose 3 life.
T: Remove target creature from the game and put a +1/+1 counter on Shauku."

Goodness! Shauku, Endbringer ranks right up there with Lord of the Pit and Infernal Denizen as potentially really deadly, yet fun cards that can just as easily kill your opponent as they can kill yourself. Let's take a closer look at this card. 5/5 flying for 5BB? Not too bad at all, just a little costly. The ability to tap it to remove creatures from the game AND put +1/+1 tokens on Shauku is incredible. Being not able to attack if there are other creatures in play? You can work around that most of the time if you try. Just don't play this card if you suspect your opponent is using token creature generaters. That loosing 3 life a turn thing though...ouch. Turn that frown around and think of ways to use some or all of these goofy abilities to your advantage instead:
