3/3
"At the end of a turn in which any creature is damaged by Krovikan Vampire and put into any graveyard, put that creature directly into play under your control. Treat the creature as though it were just summoned. If you lose control of Krovikan Vampire or Krovikan Vampire leaves play, bury the creature."
A brief rundown of the card:
"The forgotton Wretched" is what I call Krovikan Vampire sometimes. Remeber, Control Magic is often considered a good deal. It costs 2UU. Our vampire only costs one more mana than Control Magic, and it may be able to steal multiple cards with a little help AND it's a 3/3 creature to boot. There are many ways to help the Krovikan Vampire sway all of your opponent's creatures to your side, here are some of them:
If you allow your Krovikan Vampire to wield the mighty Fire Whip, he'll be able to shoot and kill all */1 creatures and bring them to your side of the table. Just in case your opponent fields some non-weenies, try using Mortal Wound or Fatal Blow on them to make one point of Fire Whip damage enough to kill them.
These two nifty cards will let you have your vampire deals it's power in damage to any other creature. As long as the creature you're zapping in this means can't kill the Krovikan Vampire, you'll have a new addition to your raging horde in no time. Some means of regenerating the vampire can come in handy to help stop cards like Viashino Sandstalkers and such.
Lure will always be one of the more popular ways of forcing creatures to take damage from something they don't want to take damage from. This trick works very well unless your opponent has banders in play--the creature you desire may not be the creature you get.
Speaking of regenerating your Krovikan Vampire...Even though I feel there are better things to do with Baron Sengir than to have him watch over the actions of his servant Krovikan Vampire, there may be a time when attacking with a 5/5 flyer isn't the best thing to do.
