"Sacrifice an untapped creature: Enchanted creature gets +2/+0 until end of turn.
Sacrifice enchanted creature: All creatures you control get +2/+0 until end of turn."
A brief rundown of the card:
This versatile enchantment can (to a lesser effect) simulate Overrun and Skull Catapult. Sure, it isn't no Overrun, but it is abut 1/3 the casting cost. As for Skull Catapult, it does mimic the effects in a way--the catapult lets you sacrifice a creature to deal 2 damage to anything. With a little help, giving +2/+0 to a creature can have the same effect. This is a popualr sealed deck card (never know when you'll need it), and isn't quite as "bad" as it may seem at first glance. Here's a few cards to use with Betrothed of Fire:
Use whatever token generater you like the most to create tons of creatures. Place Betrothed of Fire on any old creature--even a wall will work. Sacrifice all those creature to Betrothed of Fire to pump up your enchanted creature, then sacrifice that creature to the Sword of the Ages. POW! The Sword will deal a point of damage to whatever target you choose for each point of power the sacked creature had. Nifty.
Again, create many token creatures. Sacrifice them all to whatever creature has Betrothed of Fire on it, and let loose with a huge Arena--perfect for huge creature destruction.
This is a little costly, but this will give all you creatures +4/+0 for 6R. Put Betrothed of Fire on an Ornithopter while Enduring Renewal is in play. Sacrifice the Ornithopter to give all other creatures +2/+0 until end of turn. Skull of Orm will let you retrieve an enchantment from a graveyard for 5 mana. Simply pull the Ornithopter and the Betrothed of Fire out of the graveyard, and repeat! If you're having problems getting enough mana to pull this off--see Coal Golem article a few days ago!
