"If Stromgald Spy attacks and is not blocked, you may choose to have it deal no damage to defending player this turn. If you do so, defending player must play with his or her hand face up on the table until Stromgald Spy leaves play."
A brief rundown of the card:
Besides the obvious advantage of knowing exactly what your opponent is holding, there are a few ways of abusing this knowledge. Here's some of them, and a partial list of how to make him start spying:
All of these cards and many more can help your Stromgald Spy sneak past all enemy blockers.
Rag Man has a the potent ability of forcing an opponent to discard creatures. Since you have to use Rag Man's ability during your turn only, the hefty cost of BBB to use this ability is a bit cumbersome usually--especially if it's a waste. Stromgald Spy will let you know when to and not to send out the Rag Man.
Force an opponent to put 3 cards from their hand back on top of their library. Since the Stromglad Spy would have told you what cards those were, Simply play Booby Trap immidiatly afterward and name one one of the cards. 10 damage.
Nebby is a mean hand destroying machine if you know what your opponent is holding. If you guess the wrong card with Nebuchadnezzar once a Stromgald Spy has done his thing, you may wish to consider trying Go Fish or War instead of Magic. (maybe just War for you...Go Fish does require some skill)
Don't you hate casting Lobotomy and catching your opponent with 6 plains and one Camel? Stromglad Spy will let you get much more use out of Lobotomy in the long run by letting you only remove really bothersome spells.

The Card of the day needs your help BADLY!!! Due to a recent mix-up at Geocities, another homesteader got into my site thinking it was their own. Almost every old card of the day back-up file was lost--and I understand Geocities doesn't keep backups. YOU MAY HAVE SOME OF THESE FILES ON YOUR COMPUTER. IF YOU DO, PLEASE SEND THEM TO ME VIA E-MAIL!!! I do this page for free, out of the love of the game and the mail you people send me! It's kinda fun, and I'm very discouraged right now. I apologize for not having many backups myself. Sorry. If you have recently looked at any of my old cards of the day (gone down and picked something off of the list), you very well may may one of my files still on your computer. If you're fairly computer literate, you know where they reside in cache memory, and could go locate them. They are all called "MMDDYYcardtitle.html". If you could send them to me attached to e-mail, I would really love it, and at least thank you on the main page for one month (at least). If you're not computer literate, but have looked at many old cards on this page in the last few months, send me e-mail, and I'll show you how to send me those files. It won't take much of your time, you'll learn something, and it's easy.
HELP ME PLEASE IF YOU CAN PLEASE. Due to this problem, a few of the archive cards won't work. Sorry.
