A brief rundown of the card:
A very peculiar card indeed is No Quarter (a Zepplin song too if I remember). This card makes combat a new issue all together. A creature's toughness is not nearly as meaningfull, and those with a deck prepared for this situation will find No Quarter a very effective mass-destruction spell. Sure, your opponent might be playing with a deck with plenty of heavy hitters, but try some of these creatures with No Quarter to really stir things up:
With a power of 5 for only 3 mana, Blistering Barrier is one of the nastier cards to use with No Quarter. All creatures up to and including Ernham Djinn size will perish before combat damage is dealt against a measly Blistering Barrier.
This combo will make an almost impossible to kill creature in type 2 play. Perfect for holding off Archangels and Shivan Dragons.
Both of these creatures have abnormally high powers for their casting cost (probably why their toughness is 1). Since toughness doesn't matter much in combat when No Quarter is in play, both of these creatures are excellent choices.
These creatures are extremely powerfull, but sometimes unreliable. When using No Quarter with either of these creatures, their downsides are quickly forgotten in light of creatures with a power of 6 for 4 or less mana! Nasty when used with No Quarter.
