A brief rundown of the card:
A 3/3 flyer for 3 mana is a crippler in type 2 play. If only there were ways to quell the fears of the Timid Drake, to keep it in play for a few turns early on...:
This blue enchantment makes it impossible to cast summons, until someone pays 4 life to dispose of this irritant. Just perfect for helping keep all other creatures from scaring away the Timid Drake.
Squeeze the most damage you can out of your Timid Drake by making it unaffected by summoning sickness. Fervor is particularly handy with Timid Drake---if Timid Drake gets sent back to your hand, it's not to big of a deal. For 3 mana, this combo is almost like using fyling Viashino Sandstalkers.
Break out the Legends rares and taunt your opponent with doubling the casting cost of all non-blue creatures. Use some of the lace cards to keep your opponent from casting blue creatures for normal cost if needed. This should buy your Timid Drake some time.
Remove Soul is not a bad way to help keep creatures from coming into play. Cheap counterspells are always a good thing--even if they only work on creatures.
