Remember to hit reload every day or else the new card may not load!

Not all of the old Card of the Day files are working right now. All of the old files should be running within one month. About 70-85% are working now. Sorry for the delays getting new cards done too. Things are getting back to normal rather well.

In this web page, I hope to present to you strategies, combos, and obscure uses for a new Magic: The Gathering card every single day.

The Card of the Day is...

Colossus of Sardia

Antiquities, 4rth Edition, 5th Edition Rare
Artifact Creature

9/9
Trample
"Colossus of Sardia does not untap during your untap phase.
9: Untap Colossus of Sardia. Use this ability only during your upkeep."

A brief rundown of the card:

Yeah, that's more like it. 9/9 trample--one of the biggest. Sure, he is costly, but he is a steal for what you pay (you get what you pay for). In type 1 play, I've had the pleasure of dropping one of these fellows down on the 3rd turn a few times (you can do better than that, but it's really hard). Lets see...you block my Colossus with your Hypnotic Specter and your Erhnam Djinn. They both die, you take two, and the Colossus lives! Har har har. As much as I like this card, I don't think I've ever put 4 in a deck. I only use 3 in a deck built just for quick artifact mana (more on that later). 2 is a comfortable number to round out a deck with a few little and medium sized creatures. There's nothing worse than drawing 2 Colossi(?) in your open hand, then facing a deck with even a little land destruction. They just sit there laughing and taunting you. Here are some of the many uses for the popular Colossus of Sardia:
