Acidic Sliver

"Each Sliver gains "2, Sacrifice this creature: This creature deals 2 damage to target creature or player."
A brief rundown of the card:
This is one of the more popular slivers for good reason. This sliver kinda gives you a pumpable Skull Catapult as long as you only use slivers (not a bad choice when considering Acidic Sliver). It's not too hard to build any color(ed) deck based on slivers. Black and red have quite a few good slivers going for them as it is. This ability is neat enough as long as you have many slivers in your deck, but there are other things to do with Acidic Sliver:
- Sadistic Glee/Khabal Ghoul/Asmira Holy Avenger...
All of these cards require creatures going to the graveyard from play to start working. Not only will sacrificing a sliver allow you to deal 2 damage, but it will pump up a creature for you too if you plan for it.
- Strands of Night/Hell's Caretaker...
Both of these spells allow you to repeatedly fetch creatures in the graveyard back into play. This is particularly a good thing when you have Acidic Sliver in play--just keep fetching dead slivers to sacrifice them for 2 more damage over and over.
- Sliver Queen
This odd legend allows you to create sliver tokens for 2 mana. That 2 mana can be quickly translated into 2 damage while Acidic Sliver is in play. A fairly tough combo to pull of, but if you do you'll have a reusable Rocket Launcher (every 4 mana you pay gets 2 damage)!!!
