Remember to hit reload every day or else the new card may not load!

Check out my handy-dandy archive list organizer! You can find this table at the top of the list that is sorted by color, and at the very bottom of the page. The color list is cleaned up fairly well, and is alphabetized. I also have the list sorted by date just where it was before. I plan on keeping it for ever in addition to the nice color/alpha sorted lists. I disposed of all temporary dead links for a little whlie. I marked files on the color list that have been updated within a week with the words NEW!. Chris

In this web page, I hope to present to you strategies, combos, and obscure uses for a new Magic: The Gathering card every single day.

The Card of the Day is...

Woolly Spider

Ice Age Common
1GG Summon Spider

2/3
Can block creatures with flying.
If Woolly Spider is assigned to block a creature with flying, Woolly Spider gets +0/+2 until end of turn.

Giant Spider or Woolly Spider? Which is better? I say neither. Both of these spiders are great sealed deck cards, and fairly good contructed deck defense against flyers. Giant Spider costs a little more, but is a stronger blocker against ground creatures whereas Woolly Spider costs a little less yet is better at blocking flyers weighing in at 2/5. Both have pros and cons, I feel they are interchangable in mono green decks. If your going for a multi color deck, I'd barely lean towards the Giant Spider just because it only requires one colored mana versus two for the Woolly Spider. Here are some combos to help your big defensive spider snare more than it's share of enemy creatures:
