I'm not ashamed to say I've traded for some of these before. I didn't trade much for Purelaces, yet I do respect the FACT that they do play a unique role in Magic. Are there many times I say to myself in the middle of a heated tournament duel "Boy, I wish I could change that card to white"? NO. Have I constructed a deck focusing around Purelace to shame and humiliate all of those bratty rich kids that scoff at the idea of using cards that don't cost over $10 in their decks? You bet. There is nothing quite like the feeling of having someone make fun of your deck, then beating them sore with it. Purelace can do that for you. The lace cards are some of the most made fun of cards ever printed, yet they are incredibly awesome--you just have to have build a deck to accomodate this need.
