Tourach's Chant

"During your upkeep, pay B or bury Tourach's Chant.
Whenever a player puts a forest into play, Tourach's Chant deals 3 damage to him or her unless that player puts a -1/-1 counter on a target creature he or she controls."

Wasn't Fallen Empires too spiffy for it's own good? Too many odd cards from that set will forever be forgotten about by many a player, even though there are a few real gems amongst the bunch if you look real hard. Tourach's Chant may lack the obvious brute force of most color hosers you are familiar with, yet this enchantment can really put a pinch on the right kind of deck. Any green creature deck will have an incredibly difficult time trying to work around a Tourach's Chant. If they play land to get out bigger creatures, they'll take damage or hurt the creatures they already have in play. If you're lucky, you're opponent will hesistate to play land and let you build up your resources for whatever nasty surprises you have in store. I have used Tourach's Chant and it's green counterpart many times as sideboard cards in tournaments. They really have screwed up quite a few opponents for me. There are a few ways to try to build a deck focusing around Tourach's Chant too. Be silly and try to humiliate your opponent with such combos like these:
