5/4
Trample
"During your upkeep, return a green creature you control to owner's hand."
Now that's one powerfull card. Stampeding Wildebeests are not only incredibly huge for their casting cost, they also don't directly harm you unlike many other abnormally large for their casting cost creatures. It isn't too hard to have lots of cannon fodder for the wildebeests, here are some of my favorites:
Wall of Blossoms
The Wall of Blossoms is a rather effective little wall-cantrip all by itself, yet when combined with Stampeding Wildebeests, you turn the upkeep of the wildebeests into a good thing....very good thing. You'll effectively be forcing yourself to have a larger than normal hand during your upkeep AND forcing yourself to pay 1G to draw an extra card every turn---all the while keeping a cheap 5/4 trampler happy. This idea was sent in to us by both Sebastian Leonhardt and SiteRep007.
Thallid/Elvish Farmer/Thallid Devourer/Verdent Force
Saproling tokens are by far the easiest green token creatures to create. All of the above mentioned creatures create Saproling tokens at various levels of efficiency. One may say that one doesn't need a 5/4 trampler when Verdent Force is in town, yet Verdent Force does lack trample.
Spike Breeder
Spike Breeder is another very efficient means of dumping many little green creatures into play. If only there were a Fungal Bloom for Spikes....
Volrath's Laboratory
This is one of the coolest token creature creaters ever. Period. For 5 mana per use, you can create a token creature of whatever color you wish and whatever summon type you wish. Cool.
