The Card of the Day is....

Sorrow's Path

Tap: Exchange two of your opponent's blocking creatures. This exchange may not cause an illegal block. Use this ability only if you are not the defending player. Sorrow's Path does 2 damage to you and 2 damage to each creature you control whenever it is tapped.

A brief rundown of the card:

Yes, this card was once descibed as "The path to Hell is paved with good intensions". I do agree for the most part this is a difficult card to use, but have you ever really thought about using it? The special ability is really cool (forget about 2 damage thing for a moment). Only General Jarkeld has similar ability, and he is a Legend. You could cram 4 Sorrow's Paths into your deck. Let me give you a few ideas for using the "worst card ever made".

• Thicket Basilisk/Infernal Medusa/Cockatrice
  You can switch the blockers of these creatures--even the original blockers of these are marked for burial once they have been asigned to block. Even if something else ends up blocking them due to a switch, they still get petrified. These beasties can also survive the wrath of the Path.
• XXXXlace+COP XXXX+protection from XXXX creatures
  Find a need to switch blockers in your deck but don't have the life to withstand Sorrow's Path? Do you have problems with your creatures dying because of the Path? Make the Path whatever color you want with the appropriate lace and COP the damage to yourself. Add with protection from XXXX creatures to match your lace cards, and you can tap away to your hearts content without fear. Perfect for your COP Blue deck--add Karoo Meerkats, Jade Monolith and Psionic Entity for added fun.
• Gauntlets of Chaos/Political Trickery+Icy Manipulator/Power Sink...
  Give the Path to an unsuspecting victim and tap it like there's no tomorrow. Throw in Candelabla of Tawnos/Ley Druid to get a few extra tap/untaps out of your opponents newfound Sorrow's Path. Keep taunting them saying "HAHA. You are playing with Sorrow's Path!"
