The Card of the Day is....

Dragon Mask

3, Tap: Target creature you control gets +2/+2 until end of turn. At end of turn, it that creature is in play, return it to owner's hand.

A brief rundown of the card:

This artifact is one of the most versatile around. Besides squeezing an extra 2 points of damage out of an attack, there are many combos to use with Dragon Mask. Before I rattle some off, keep in mind Dragon Mask can also be used to save your creatures from impending doom (the Armageddon Clock gets out of control...)

Nekrataal
Just like a free terror every turn.
Triskelion
Cast your Triskelion. Shoot all of it's tokens at something. Send the Triskelion back to your hand, and reuse again next turn. That's like a Hammer of Bogarden almost.
Eron the Relentless/Volcanic Dragon...
Use Dragon Mask with any creature without summoning sickness. You will make your fast-hitters bigger, and keep your hand full at the same time...not to mention making Wanderlust and Maddening Wind hard for your opponent to use (we all know how important that is).
Balance/Wrath of God/Savage Twister
Did your opponent just field 3 or 4 creatures while you only have 1 or 2? Use Dragon mask to safely bring your creatures back to your hand, and then follow up with one of these fine mass-creature destruction spells. Play your freshly rested creatures right after God clears the board.
Striped Bears/Carrion Pigeons/Pyknite...
I know most of these are bad words to say in most Magic discussions, but try using them to draw a card every turn WHILE keeping a semi-handy creature around to block. True, these are small creatures but they will get the +2/+2 bonus from the Dragon Mask...it makes the Striped Bears unboltable! They are worth considering. Would you pay 5G for a card and a 4/4 blocker? Jaymdae Tome costs 4 to draw a card. Carniverous Plant is similar to the Striped Bears (in this instance--the Bears won't get to attack) and costs 3G. That 5G for Bears+Mask, 8GG for Jaymdae Tome+Carniverous Plant.
