Harvest Wurm

3/2 When Harvest Wurm comes into play, return any basic land card from your graveyard to your hand or bury Harvest Wurm.

A brief rundown of the card:

This is one of the most powerful creatures for the mana in Magic--if you can just make sure you can get a basic land in your graveyard early in the game. Here are of few of the best ways to accomplish this:

• Zuran Orb
  This infamous artifacft has stretched out way too many game way too long. Zuran Orb is one of the best long-term means of gaining tons of life---for the price of sacrificing a land for 2 life each. Safely ditch an extra land or two to Zuran Orb knowing you have a Harvest Wurm in hand. This combo was sent to us by Ron Barbara.
• Fallow Wurm
  Fallow Wurm is a hefty 4/4 for 2G, but you must discard a land card from your hand when you play it. Make sure you discard a basic land, and quickly return the land to your hand when you summon Harvest Wurm.
• Rouge Elephant
  Rouge Elephant is a crippling first turn creature, but you must sacrifice a forest to bring forth this 3/3 elephant. Get that much needed early forest back quickly with Fallow Wurm.
