Vitriol and Voracious are a matched dagger (Vitriol) and shortsword (Voracious). Their blades are made of the finest Viln steel, shaped with a flared diamond shape at the base of the blade of blackened steel and inset with transparent triangular crystals. The hilts are carved from a porous, light black stone. Vitriol's blade and Voracious' hilt are inscribed with the Names of all their previous wielders in silver. Historically, Vitriol was wielded by the Lord of Viln while Voracious was carried by the Protector of Viln. These positions currently reside in one body -- a Horror that is the sole occupant of Viln.

Key Knowledge: The wielder must know when and why the blades were created. (They were created in 387 TH to help the ork nation of Cara Fahd defeat the human empire of Landis.)
Cost: 500 LP
Effect (Vitriol): Adds thread rating to Incite Mob talent, or provides ability to use Incite Mob at the weapon's thread rank; damage is Str+4.
Effect (Voracious): Damage is Str+7; Str+9 against humans.

Rank Three:
Key Knowledge: Know the Name of every past wielder of each weapon and how long each wielded the blade(s).
Deed: Visit the Grand Hall in Viln and swear an oath to support the people of Viln, the Lord of Viln, and the Protector of Viln. This deed is worth 500 LP.
Cost: 700 LP
Effect (Vitriol): For one point of strain, Vitriol may be used as a Second Weapon attack (Dex+Thread rank to hit); damage is now Str+5.
Effect (Voracious): +2 steps to Melee Weapons; damage is now Str+8 (Str+10 versus humans).

Rank Four:
Key Knowledge: The wielder must learn the Name of the weaponsmith that created the matched swords.
Deed: The current Lord of Viln and Protector of Viln must inscribe their Name(s) onto the weapons in silver. This deed is worth 700 LP.
Cost:1500 LP
Effect: Vitriol and Voracious may be combined when placed together to form an eight foot pole arm with one blade at either end. The shaft of the weapon is made of the same porous black stone as the pommel and handles. Damage for the combined weapon is Str+11; Vitriol's Second Weapon attack can still be used at Str+5 damage.

Key Knowledge: None
Cost: 2350 LP
Effect: When the combined form of Vitriol and Voracious is carried in front of an army composed of orks (at least fifty orks need be present), all orks within the army are affected as if combat fury had been successfully casy upon them.
