The War Bow of Sonrious appears to be a finely crafted Elven War Bow. It
is made out of pliant wood, and True Wood, making it feel almost alive when
held. When the user attaches a thread to it, it resizes itself to fit the
user perfectly. Many runes have been carved on the side, in elvish
tradition. Most believe that these were added by the elf Briana, the
second owner of the bow. It is not known if she added the runes before or
after Sonorious' death, however. -- Maxwell, chief researcher, Library of Throal.
Sonorious, Theran Elven archer and noble of some notoriety, was the owner,
crafter and wielder of this powerful bow. Upon his death, he bequeathed it
to a non-Theran, an unusual act in itself. Even more curious is that the
elf that he gave it to was neither an archer, nor a soldier. Upon her
death, however, news of the bow was lost. It is assumed to still exist,
possibly buried under tens of meters of undergrowth in the Blood Wood.
