The Renegade Rokk Krinn Journal
The following is so baffling, I’m not even going to make an attempt at explaining it away. When this document was submitted to me by Scholars Ligasmu and Binbalik upon their return to Throal, I thought perhaps they were playing some sort of joke on me. When the time came to include Gort’s original journals, I had to reconstruct them from the Krinn “edited” version. Although I make no explanation for why Krinn chose to do what he did, much less comment upon the manner he did it in, I have been asked to include some sample passages from the original Gort journals I was given. I dubbed this work “The Renegade Rokk Krinn Journal”. The two excerpts I have chosen are from early on, during a time when Rokk was still in Throal and another from right after he joined the group. Note that I said the first passage was before he joined the group.

The Unnecessary Quest of Fruit
Harvesting in the Valley of Death; Part II
Day III continued - Sixteenth day of Mawag, 1508
Re-assuming their 2x2 marching order, they spent the next six hours getting to the tree. As they approached the tree, they saw it was engulfed in a giant spider web. No sooner had they noticed that, they were attacked by a Jehuthra. Before Gort could even react, he was encased in a web of ice. Unable to move, the Jehuthra moved against Killian. Killian, however, was safe in the knowledge that his keg was outside the battle zone. He dealt a couple of good whacks to the Jehuthra. No sooner had Killian established a rhythm, then another Jehuthra dropped down into the fray. At that point, party morale became low. Chamberlain's efficient spellcasting came to naught as the Jehuthras kept seeing through it. After casting a defensive chilling circle, Blue was unable to penetrate the Jehuthra's spell defenses.
As the vile Jehuthra moved to eliminate the helpless Gort, the obsidiman broke free of his bond. Enraged at being made so helpless he struck the Jehuthra with a withering blow. So fierce was the strike that it killed the creature. The other Jehuthra, now panicked, cast its steel maze spell. The four became separated in a way that the Jehuthra could pick them off one by one. Realizing the dangers to Blue and Chamberlain, Gort raced down the passageway. His fears were warranted, for the Jehuthra went after Blue. Already weakened by his undead struggle, Blue was driven to the point of death. Satisfied that its prey was not going anywhere, the Jehuthra moved back up the passage. Gort, having reached the center location, gambled on the passage and went down the wrong one. When the Jehuthra returned it was finished off by the just arrived Chamberlain and Killian. The death of the Jehuthra canceled the maze spell and the party was able to treat Blue's wounds. Using Chamberlains rope trick they retrieved the fruit and returned to Bryhn. Gort and Killian removed the Jehuthra thoraxs as prizes.

No sooner had they noticed that, they were attacked by a Jehuthra. Before Gort could even react, and despite Rokk's early warning to him, he was encased in a web of ice. Unable to move, the Jehuthra moved against Killian. Killian, however, was safe in the knowledge that his keg was outside the battle zone. He dealt a couple of good whacks to the Jehuthra. As the vile Jehuthra moved to eliminate the helpless Gort, the obsidiman broke free of his bond , thanks in large part to the efforts of Rokk Krinn, the Ork of Legend. Enraged at being made so helpless he struck the Jehuthra with a withering feeble blow. This was enough to distract him though, as Rokk was able to land a crushing blow right after. So fierce was the strike that it killed the creature. The other Jehuthra, now panicked, cast its steel maze spell. The four five became separated in a way that the Jehuthra could pick them off one by one. Realizing the dangers to Blue and Chamberlain, Gort raced down the passageway told Rokk to race down the passageway, since he was too weak to do so. His fears were warranted, for the Jehuthra went after Blue. Already weakened by his undead struggle, Blue was driven to the point of death. Satisfied that its prey was not going anywhere, the Jehuthra moved back up the passage. Gort, having eventually reached the center location, gambled on the passage and foolishly went down the wrong one. When the Jehuthra returned it was finished off by the just arrived Chamberlain and Killian Rokk Krinn, Ork of Legend. The death of the Jehuthra canceled the maze spell and the party was able to treat Blue's wounds. Using Chamberlains rope trick they retrieved the fruit and returned to Bryhn. Gort and Killian removed raped the Jehuthra 's bodies, taking the thoraxs as prizes for sale on the market later.
Gort’s orignal version
The pursuit was swift and fierce. The Ristular caught up with Gort first, both because of his size and because he was riding in the Death Cart. However, Thysidonius favored the outnumbered on this day. With every swing of Gort's polearm, a Ristular was knocked to the ground. Other cultists pushed furiously onward. Chamberlain's Displace Image distracted the cult long enough for the group to achieve critical actions. Rokk showed flair and dramatics as he jumped from the back of Akasha's horse to a cultist's. Knocking the Ristular off with a single blow, Rokk turned the horse around and engaged the enemy. Together, the rain of blows from Krinn and unleashed elements of Akasha began to turn the tide. Further back, Garnel used his sleep darts with deadily accuracy. Weaving between arrows and sword swings, he helped even the odds.
The turning point came when three cultists jumped onto the Death Cart. Gort deftly dispatched two of them but, while fighting the third, was pushed back. The cart, with its two occupants, was sent crashing into to ground. The horses, free of their burden and terrified, bolted away. Still locked in combat, Gort and the Ristular faced off. As they prepared to cross blades, four horseman charged toward the obsidiman. With one strike, Gort killed the cultist. Then, Chamberlain arrived and dismounted. Gort set for charge and, combined with Chamberlain's magics, threw all four riders. Back to back, the two companions fought desperately and bravely. When they finished, an eerie silence blanketed everything, disturbed only by the slight rustling of the wind through the tall grass.
The battle had been desperate, bloody and spread out over a mile. Bodies lay strewn throughout. A few of the survivors rose and made their way to the west. Krinn, Akasha and Garnel rode in pursuit, still in the throes of combat fury and oblivious to the setting sun. Gort and Chamberlain found the cart horses in the distance. Although they reattached the pieces of the cart, it was not fit for riding in. Wanting to put some distance between themselves and the Ristular, they began to make their way north. They were soon joined by Akasha and the Throal contingent, who had wisely given up pursuit before night fell.

The turning point came when three cultists jumped onto the Death Cart. Gort deftly barely dispatched two of them with the encouragement of Rokk from afar but, while fighting the third, was pushed back. The cart, with its two occupants, was sent crashing into to ground. Luckilly, at this instant, Rokk joined the battle. Back to back, the two companions fought desperately and bravely.
