Primary Business
Snowtech is a corporation dedicated to making almost any type of industry vehicles (from planes to trucks), and a couple of "general-public" goods (mostly the famous "ski-doos"). It is pretty much focused on this business, but still find ressources to finance some research on military technology.
Corporate Structure
Jacques Galarneau, direct descendant of the founder, Joseph-Armand Galarneau, is the CEO of the company with a good part of the shares, but he isn't the chairman of the board. It's his old friend, Albert Larochelle, who is. When Jacques became CEO, he hold this position, but, for some reason, one day he gave it to the second major shareholder, Larochelle. The reason of this change is still very unclear, theories abound that range from "Larochelle saved Galarneau's life" to "Actually Jacques Galarneau is dead, his rare apearance are made with an hologram projector", with the majority more realistic than that. The rest of the shares are divided among several millions shareholders.
Major Divisions
Snowtech is divided in continental divisions: Snowtech-North America, Snowtech-South America, Snowtech-Europa, Snowtech-Asia, Snowtech-Africa and Snowtech-Oceania. Then the company is divided in their field of interest, like Snowtech-Airplanes or Snowtech-heavy machinery (usually they get some fancier name, like Aerotech for Snowtech-airplanes, but these names are to represent the general divisions in each continent.
Execs
Frederic Von Schlieben is the executive in charge of aerospace, but he gets a lot of help (understand "manipulation") from Galarneau and Larochelle.
Nadia Tamagotch is in charge of the consumer goods division and seems to be able to do what she wants, without any problem. She clearly is in power for this division, without much input from Galarneau and Larochelle.
Shigeru Naka is the main man behind the heavy industry division, which he control cooperatively with Albert Larochelle. This cooperation have helped Snowtech become an heavy weight in this domain.
Security
Each major division of Snowtech takes care of its own security. The effectiveness of it therefore varies greatly from one division to another. The security isn't exceptionnally high, but a couple of shadowruns have convinced Larochelle to send fund to its division to improve it. Expect some ameliorations soon, especially concerning magic security, the Achille's heel of Snowtech.
Physical security
This the main force of Snowtech's security (altough it can't compare with the likes of Ares, for example). Even though it is hard to make generalisations about Snowtech's security, their are some things you can, and cannot, expect. The main security usually is set around their building, far enough so that the building protected doesn't get any damage. Once inside, though, the security is less important.
Magical security
Snowtech's magical security is really poor, some asset not even having a mage to protect them.
Matrix Security
Snowtech's matrix security is often outdated, with ice one or even two generations late. This weakness is compensated by putting offline as much data as they can. Sensible information that doesn't need to be accessed by the outside world is always stocked on hardware disconnected from the matrix.
Military security
Snowtech doesn't have any official military assets.
Extended security
Officially, Snowtech doesn't have much "extended security" (understand "black-ops teams"), it instead relys heavily on Shadowrunner teams, whom are hired through some distant subsidiary branch. This branch is of course not publicly acknowledged as part of Snowtech. That way, it keeps their evidences of their black-ops far enough so that the public doesn't learn about it. That way, it can keep its reputation relatively high.
