NEW ARCHETYPE: THE THIEF

Aren't all Shadowrunners thiefs, might you ask. To that I'll ask another question: how many of them really take that part of their business as their specialty? This kind of hcaracter usually doesn't have incredible money to spend on toys, like cyberware. They're often part of gangs, where they are of special importance. Multiple types of thiefs can be found in the world of Shadowrun, here are some of them...
The special skills (that are not in the skill web) are concentrations of the 'stealing' skill. Put that on the skill web you please. The skill disguise isn't in that skill, it is a skill by itself.

Cat Burglar

Steals from the rich, gives to himself. This type of thief specialize in stealign things inside building, where lots of costy stuff can be found. This isn't an easy task, as the most interesting targets are the most protected. A mix of stealth, electronics and lockpicking are the skills needed for this type of character. Disguise is also quite useful.

The uses for such a character in a 'classical' Shadowrun game are many. Lots of runs involve searching for information inside houses or such buildings and the skills of the cat burglar can be useful to enter subtly even the most guarded megacorp.

PickPocket

Houses are well guarded... People aren't nearly as much. A pickpocket steals things directly on the person who has it. The most skillful of them could steal your clothes without you noticing a thing, or so they say. Of course the skill Pickpocket is a must, but Running (concentration of Athletics) can prove very useful at times.

This character is trickier to put in a typical Shadowrun game. He could be useful to get password for the matrix, which are often kept in wallets and such places. Getting passkeys is another use. In fact, getting anything small that is kept on oneself is the specialty of the pickpocket.

Car Stealer

The riggers of thiefs. A rigger who spent all of his money on getting his rig must find vehicles elsewhere. A car stealer might not have the most powerful Blitzen ever designed, but he won't care when a missile hits his stolen Rapier... Electronics and lockpicking are a must for car stealers, as is, of course, driving skills in all types of vehicles.

This character essentially is a rigger without a budget. It's quite easy to fit in a game and that character can eb pretty useful. Not being specialized in driving a specific car can be very useful when the said car blows up. Beside, if a run went well, it is possible to quit the corp in one of the vehicle of that corp, nobody will notice you.

Mage Thief

This is a catch all category. This kind of character is a thief who can cast spells. Magic can be quite helpful when running away from those pesky cops and even more useful not to get noticed by them in the first place. The types of spell most useful are of illusion and manipulation type.

Data Snatcher

Data snatchers are deckers who use wits instead of software to get what they want. Instead of slashing through heaps of ice to get to their objective, they try to get information that will help them avoid this ice. A high charisma and a good negociation and interrogation skills are very useful for social engeneering (getting information out of unsuspecting targets) and a great masking rating is a minimum.

Data snatchers is a different version of the decker. Instead of considering that there is no life outside of the matrix, the data snatcher realizes that people use those networks, and those people can be manipulated to help your job. It'a all a matter of point of view.
