Using the MMBN 2 Codes
Correctly
Last Updated On:

MegaMan Battle Network 2 is, without
a doubt, one of the best games to hit the Game Boy Advance yet. (If you
don't have it, get it. It really is a good game!) MMBN 2 is also much
harder than the original MegaMan Battle Network game, and until recently
there wasn't much of anything available for GameShark users. However,
several people have made over 2,000 codes for this game alone! This topic
will help you to use these codes and the new Enable Code, which was
recently created to replace Interact's faulty Enable Code.
1 - The New Enable Code
The first and foremost problem with Interact's codes is that the
Enable Code they provided was very poor, because it doesn't work in
battle. The new code, which you can find on this site, allows you to use
in-battle codes such as Max Custom Gauge.
Because we created this code, we have
thoroughly tested it and guarantee that it is 100% compatible with the
game. However, if you use it incorrectly, it can cause problems for your
game. The following is a list of things you should NOT do with this new
Enable Code:
-
Don't activate the new Enable Code
and the old one at the same time. This will cause your game to freeze. We
recommend that you delete the old code to avoid conflicts.
-
Do not combine the Enable Codes into
one single code. This may cause some undesired effects in your game.
-
Don't use both of the codes at
different times (i.e., loading the game with one code and then loading it
later with another). This may cause problems in the game.
-
Don't type the code wrong.
Incorrectly entering the code can significantly change the way the code
works.
Most of the codes we provide on this
site require the new Enable Code, so we recommend that you use it instead
of Interact's.
2 - Read The Directions!
Reading any instructions provided with a code can help you use it
correctly. We offer directions for codes on this Web site, and other sites
with codes usually give directions as well. Always follow any
instructions given for a code! You may not be able to use two codes
together at the same time, or special information is needed about how the
code works. If you don't read the instructions, you could make a code work
incorrectly. Be careful!
3 - Should I Use Interact's
Codes?
No! Why should you use their codes when other people have created
thousands of codes which work better? Interact did a terrible job of
hacking this game and there are many other independent hackers out there
which have done a much better job than Interact could have ever done. We
recommend that you use unofficial codes, which can be found at this site
and at various other places on the Internet.
