C O N C E P T :

Feel very sorry for our trio of macho male Mutants...they've been
assigned the task of babysitting for the mischevious X-Babies.
Everything was going fine until the little ones got out of sight for
only a brief moment, just long enough to find the entrance to the
Morlock Tunnels and bound down into the sewers. Cable,
Bishop, and Quicksilver have followed and found them, but now
they've got to help each other survive being surrounded by Mr.
Sinister and his nastiest cohorts. If only the guys had thought of
giving the Babies a stack of OverPower cards, that woulda kept
them occupied...!

S T R A T E G I E S :

Notice the No-Nonsense Special setup. Each Character has
THREE SPECIALS and all other cards are usable by at least
two people, 3 in most cases. KO's won't hurt this team too much
as you can potentially play all of any one person's specific cards
pretty quickly.

For maximum opponent frustration, try to Place an AVOID 1
ATTACK on every Front Line Character. Or at least placing on
two of them will bottleneck your opponent's attacks, which can
be very advantageous for you, especially since the Battlesite
has a few cards that can render the third one immune to all but
one type of attack. Oh yeah, placing Avoids is great preparation
for the Battle you decide to play VERTIGO, too!

Of course SERPENT CROWN and SUPER SOLDIER SERUM
are meant for boosting the X-Babies up to Cable-like stats; after
you realize who your opponent's main target is on your Front
Line, place the Artifacts on the other two X-Men, then try to
keep them alive until the Babies make it to the Front Line.

When the SWITCHEROO EVENT comes up, hopefully there is
one of your guys up front that has taken some hits and has
played at least two of their Special cards; move them to
Reserve. Or pick the guy that has filled one of those criteria. Pay
close attention to the Character that comes to the Front Line on
your opponent's team; they may be a defensless, easy KO for
you now.

T W E A K S :

If you don't play with them, take the AG's out. This cuts the
Front Line's Specials down to two each, even better for those
scenarios where you can sacrifice a guy who has played all their
cards in order to steal Venture. Of course this still leaves the
X-Babies with three cards, in which case I would probably bring
them to the Front Line and stick Quicksilver in Reserve, keeping
both of his OPD's since he could conceivably come to the Front
Line ("Switcherooooooo!") before you draw the second one.
This set-up might be better if you want to Artifact-boost the
Babies earlier and definitely have them up-front when Vertigo
comes up (so you can put the Power card hits safely on their
Record), but I prefer to have the Really Big Guns up front early
in the game.
