The world is filled with demons who greed They take all from those who need Life has no meaning while they are around Mabe a purpose can still be found We chose these people to improve our lives But inside their souls, evil thrives On the poor people who work until death They destroy all until nothing is left It began long ago, in the midst of a new land Civilized savages stood where the natives stand They took what not was theirs and killed those who opposed The natives were banned and the door to their country closed (The demons became sluggish and sought a helping hand They shiped un-civilized cretins from yet another land The unslugish rebeled and the people went to war The cretins were freed and their population began to soar) And the power governing this land is nothing but lies Made up of greedy demons in suits and ties They care only for themselves and horde all they find They have sold their souls so their hearts are blind There is no longer a God, only money and power Yet the beating on our concious becomes louder and louder The end of the world seems to happen every day Everyone knows but they are not brave enough to say Are we as bad as those who feed on our souls? I guess no one cares, I guess no one knows Everyone wants a word but no one wants to listen And as we degenerate, the Demons's eyes begin to glisten. . .
