Right,
so this is the Help Channel. If your questions and problems are still not
answered, please contact ffclubmaster@hotmail.com
--- 1. How do I update my member's info? --- When you register as a member, you are given a membership number. (with the exception of the members who registered earlier and were not given the number - there was no need of this at that time) Simply eMail ffclubmaster@hotmail.com with the UPDATE notification and with the changes you want to make. You MUST include your membership number. If you were not given this number (in which case, we are extremely sorry) or forgot it for some reason, please browse our members' profiles page and find your name and the number that corresponds to it. That is your membership number. 2. What is the Host Chat Programme? --- It is a scheduling system for members of the club. Unless we get some million hits a day, it is simply impossible to have people gather at the same time. Therefore, scheduling the time when people come to the chat room is crucial. Therefore, we need to have you post up the time (in GMT) you WILL be in the club so that people can see when you ARE in the room. You don't have to be in the room all the time (if we asked you that, you will quit the club) but certain amount of accuracy is needed. You can state the USUAL time you are in the room, or a PARTICULAR time you will be in the room for that special occasion. GMT stands for Greenwich Mean Time. If you are not familiar with this, please bear with us for the moment. We are planning to divide different chat zones so if you are living in a certain area (say, USA) you can post up your local time for that particular zone. |

3.
How do I become a staff member?
--- First, remember this is a mere fan club, and it is entirely a non-profit organisation. (organisation? hehe... wow...) On the other hand, being a staff member requires a lot of work. So although we would be extremely grateful to have people help us, please see to that you will be zealous and also enthousiastic about it. You must decide on what you can help us with. Take your time to browse through the different pages of the club, and choose what you want to help us with. We are especially in need of good News Reporter and the more we have of these people, the better it would be. News Reporters are asked to submit their news on a monthly basis. 4. How long is this club going to exist? --- I am hoping that I will have the time and the mind to keep this club going as long as our Hoff company Squaresoft exists to provide us with those marvellous games. In the case of emergency where I am away from the net for some reason, other stff members will temporarily run the club for me, so I guess it will stay on the net for longer than you might ever think, hehe. 5. How do I quit the club? --- Well, this definetely does not make us very happy. In any case, not much is required of each member and it will not do you any harm if your name continues to stay on the list. But if, for some reason, you MUST quit the club, you have to provide us with the membership number, name, and preferably, the reason why you want to quit. I do not like to receive such requests, however, quite naturally. By quitting the club, you are becoming UNCOOL. (I am kidding) 6. How do I contribute my fanart or fanfiction or anything else that I want on the club? --- If you are a member and are trying to post up a personal (or not so personal) message on our club page, use the Post up Club Messages utility and we will post it up. Each postage is destroyed in 14 days. If you want to contribute your fanart, fanfiction, whatever else regardless of the membership, use the File Tramsfer Utility on our club page to upload the files to my er... eMail inbox. --- Any more questions or problems, you will have to directly contact ffclubmaster@hotmail.com. Thank you, Dongy 1998 |
