Baldur's Gate Cheats

In order to use the Baldur's Gate Cheats, you must first enable the option in your Baldur.ini file.  This file will be located in your Baldur's Gate directory (i.e. C:\Program Files\Black Isle\Baldur's Gate).

Locate the area in the Baldur.ini file labeled [Game Options].  Under that area, add the line Cheats=1.  Then save and exit the file.

Start-up a game of Baldur's Gate and press CTRL + TAB to bring up a text field where you can write the cheats.  To exit the text field, you can either press Enter a second time after activating the cheat, or by pressing CTRL + TAB once more.

Type in the following cheats in the text field and activate them by pressing Enter.

Cheats:DrizztAttacks() - This insane code summons the famous dark elf ranger to come and maim your party members.

Cheats:DrizztDefends() - A more logical use of the above, the drow now fights by your side for a limited time.

Cheats:ExploreArea() - Reveals the current map that your character is on.

Cheats:FirstAid() - This gives your leader 5 healing potions, 5 neutralize poison potions, and a stone to flesh scroll.

Cheats:TheGreatGonzo() - This will summon 10 chickens to your side.

Cheats:Midas() - This adds 500 gold coins to the party treasure
