These lists include all Original, Assassins and SubGenius groups, and the German unique cards.
The purpose of these lists is to show cards that count directly (or to the greatest extent, or most easily) toward a particular goal. For example, for Criminal Overlords, I have listed all Violent Criminal groups, while for Shangri-La I have listed high-power Peaceful groups.
In practice, you don't generally win by approaching a goal quite so directly - you will often need to add alignments or increase power of groups that don't count toward the goal at first. Nevertheless, these lists will assist in building decks appropriate for some goals, even when you're being sneakier.
Bill Clinton's alignment has been taken as Liberal, and George Bush's as Conservative for these lists. I have acted similarly with Helmut Kohl (Clinton-style Straight) and Genschman (Bush-style Liberal).
Some groups are listed in parentheses. This indicates that they satisfy the criteria I used to select the groups, but they may not (for whatever reason) count for the goal. e.g. USA is banned in English-language tournament play, and Lyndon LaRouche's alignments don't count for goals. I have decided to leave them in the lists, with the parentheses as a warning.
In parts of these lists, the following abbreviations were used:
C = Conservative, F = Fanatic, G = Government, L = Liberal, O = Corporate,
P = Peaceful, S = Straight, V = Violent, W = Weird, X = Criminal
