Xenogears Story

Ten thousand years ago, a planet had developed technology advance enough to allow them to travel trough space. This technology was to be the used as the last resort for the survival of mankind. The reason for that was due to the overpopulation problems that plagued the planet; making it increasingly unbearable difficult to live on the planet. So the people built a giant ship called Noah's Ark to serve as mans home with enough technology to sustain life aboard the ship. As the giant migrant ship cruised in space, suddenly, all systems went haywire....one after the other. In a moments notice, lurking within the shadows, the ship was attacked. There was no time to resist, someone had taken over the systems. Shadows and cryptic messages flashed....."You shall be as gods." Everyone on board was to be evacuated at once using several ships but within the ship, attacking without mercy, were its own lasers making it impossible to escape. With the ship badly damaged, The captain decided that there was no other way except to sink the ship. He had the self-destruc system activated. There was a flash of lighting. Then the ship slowly sank towards a planet. In the midst of the wreckage, a lone woman survived the crash.

And after ten thousand years......

In the village of Rahan, there lived a young man named Fei who had lost his memory and for three years had lived on that village. On the day before the wedding of his best friends, Timothy & Aruru, a mysterious Gear landed in the village. Without a moment's notice, Rahan village was engulfed in flames and there was an attack. Amid the noise of the people fleeing the mysterious Gear spoke to Fei. "Well now, I'm going to make you shed blood for love...It will be as red, as deep as the sea of Hell....." The battle had all been in vain and Timothy was beaten by the Kislevs. Everyone who meant something to Fei was killed. Fei was shocked and angry at his own powerlessness. For a brief second something inside him clicked, then there was a great white light and he lost consciousness. When he came to, all there was left was total devastation. Those villagers who had survived spoke angrily and no one glanced at him as if they knew him. As if chased, Fei left Rahan village. So begins his quest. But, though the tragedy has spanned ten thousand years, what had passed is only the beginning.......
