Yes, they did it again . . . or maybe we should say YET!!! They won the tourney by edging out runners-up, Diann and MrEd2!! We weren't quite prepared to interview them again . . . though I do suppose there's LOTS more we could print about them. In case some of you out there don't know it, Tis is also Latisha and MtLion is also JimboLimo!! ;))) The truth is Tis started interviewing us, "Jo, what is it like to interview the same people week after week?" LOL!! Then when we told her we meant they had to interview themselves, she had a few good questions for Jim . . . "Jim, what is your favorite part of your pard's maneuvers?" or "Now, Jim . . . It can be said that euchre can be up and down at times, which do you prefer?" LOL! We put an end to that immediately . . . no telling where it might lead . . . and since it wasn't safe for them to be interviewing themselves, we had to step in and try to come up with something new to ask them!! Now that Pokah and Pammy are helping us by logging the special events room text on Friday nights, we can just do the interviews right there!! Tis was happy about us not using ICQ for the interviews anymore, "Sure no pressure of getting stuck in a chat...lol!" ;) We did ask them for the reason they keep winning Jim answered, "Remember the 'brass' calls I mentioned? :)" Tis commented, "Well...I screw up a lot and Jim fixes it...lollol!" It seems that at one point during the tourney Tis called diamonds instead of hearts . . . when all she had in her hand was the ten of diamonds . . . but it did work out for them and stopped the other team's loner. Tis explained, "I make risky calls, even at the risk of Jim biting my head off....lol! If you don't bid, you don't score as much! The name of the game is euchre, because it is a game of chance." To which Jim remarked, "She is the one with the 'brass ones'. I still would either have at least ONE bower or FOUR trump when I call." Then Tis, always one for looking on the positive side said, "Actually...I believe that Jim and I play well together because we play so differently. Jim, plays logically . . . and I play blondely! I play by instinct . . . and I'm a lucky little SH*T! lol!" Jim summed it all up, "Like Tis said....it's a combo....my logic and her 'chances.'" We also found out this week that Jimbo has a web page out there. The URL is www.freeyellow.com/members2/jimboslimos/ . . . he's says there's not much there but we're sure it's great!  Jim and Tis agreed that good cards are 75% of the game. They feel they won because, even though they weren't getting great cards, they had compatible hands. We got a little extra information from them this week . . . Tis likes Tom Cruise (he makes her lava erupt . . . LOL) and her favorite movie is "Far and Away" while Jim likes Nicole Kidman and he really enjoyed "Days of Thunder" . . . Jim's favorite color is green for Irish and $$$ . . . Tis' favorite color is purple . . . we weren't sure we wanted to know why . . . LOL!!! Jim loves a good pizza and Tis lists LOTS of chocolate as her favorite food . . . especially chocolate covered pretzels! Jim has two cats and one fish . . . Tis has an orange tiger cat . . . but says she has two of them . . . the other being Mt.Lion!! LOL!! Tis had a rough Friday . . . her father had a heart attack in the early morning hours and she'd been up since 4:00am!! We send out our best wishes for his quick recovery. She said her Dad told her to win one for him . . . so she did! Way to go you two . . . nice playing! ;)

The Crapper LOL :-))

In the Consolation Tournament, Crappers and zDANGERz won out in a close match over Opall and Nisreen. The ladies put up a heck of a fight too . . . it was a close game! Crapper's first words were, "We won the constipation match!!!!!!!" LOL!! Crappers, who is from Louisiana, happily married (second time), and has four children, explained how he got his "unusual" nickname . . . "I used to be HELLION in beta program. I kept trying to register my name and it wouldn't take . . . so finally I got ticked and I just typed in crappers and it took . . . just my luck!" Danger's secret of success is "Well I play with my women same time as I call up trump . . . lol!" He wasn't too thrilled about being interviewed but he was nice about it and answered a few questions . . . he's a chiropractor from Michigan and took his nickname because it fit his playing style . . . he has a tendency to come from behind. However, we came to the conclusion that the only people he's dangerous to are his opponents! LOL!! He promised us a 10% discount if we treated him right!! LOL!! He requested me use a picture of a toilet for him . . . "use the flush handle side . . . since I don't have a picture yet!" Well, we aim to please . . . we just hope it's from the right angle!! LOL!! Crappers claimed, "We came from behind every game! Last one we were down, I think, 8 to 3 and came back . . . even after losing a point due to me crashing!" He says he's been playing euchre on-line for about 6 months now. "My dad and cousin play on here, they talked me into it. Now I LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!" BTW, for his family, euchre is a family affair . . . his dad is Madmax, his cousin is Whodatfan, and his aunt is Jolebond! His words of euchre wisdom are, "Never be scared to order! We ordered on a bunch of crap tonight and lucked out on a lot of 'em!" He likes to play Bourre . . . what he describes as "a coonass card game.....its a lot like euchre.....GREAT GAME! U know what a coonass is huh? It's that little hole under a coons tail!" Sounded like a good place to end the interview to all of us!!! LMAO!!! Nice playing guys . . . CONGRATULATIONS!!! ;)))
