| The fun began at 9:00 PM EST
(or thereabouts - LOL), when 22 teams began the race for the coveted title
of "Friday Night Euchre Winners." But only one team prevailed - Baddly
and Kambi. The trounced on our lovely GPP ladies - Pam & Lisa. (Next
week ladies!) Baddly and Kambi have been playing euchre together for about
a year now. Kambi chose her name because Bambi was a bit too common for
her and Baddly tells us she's anything but common! Baddly chose his because
some people he had played with had told him he played "badly" LOL and after
20 tries for other names, he settled for one that might fit. Smart-ass
Jo asked the question, "Kambi does Kalifornia?" ;)))) Bad Jo, Bad Jo!!!!
Baddly was born in Kentucky and now lives in Michigan. He's not married
(single and hiding, but wouldn't mention from whom). He has two children
(one boy/one girl) who are both grown. Some of our lovely ladies seem to
be a tad upset when they found out our Baddly was 45 instead of the 19
he had told them. LOL. Kambi tells us he had told her he was 20 and Baddly
told her that he wanted to seem older. ConnieB said, "shoot!! he told me
he was 30 something." I think Baddly was being quite bad, don't you? Kambi
is 39 and was born in Nebraska and now lives in Oklahoma. She's also not
married (and said that emphatically). She has three children (one boy/two
girls). Baddly tells us he tries to teach English to his college-age students,
while Kambi works as a receptionist in a doctor's office. When Kambi is
not working or playing euchre, she loves to dance. She tells us she loves
all kinds of dancing, though she's not very good at it. When asked what
her favorite is, she said, "I have no favorite - since I can't do it -
it doesn't matter, lol." She then admitted she loves to twist and shout
with the best of them. Baddly likes to go to concerts and play - especially
Shakespearean. Baddly tells us is partner is a "Terrific Euchre Player"
and Kambi readily admitted that "MY PARD IS TOO!!!!!!!!" Good thing they
get along so well, huh? LOL Kambi has been playing euchre about 9 years
while Baddly has only been playing about two years. When asked how they
happened to win tonight, Baddly tells us, "Pard Played great and I got
lucky." And Kambi admits, "LUCK and a GREAT pard!" Baddly tells us to always
play the big cards first. Kambi tells us that Baddly taught her ALL she
knows. When asked to explain if he actually taught her ALL? or all of euchre?

The Consolation Tourney Winners were Scr0ll and Foly2 who slamdunked their opponents (CJCaper and fortybaby). One thing I want to mention is that Foly2 doesn't speak very much English ... Scr0ll had to interpret some of her answers for us, but as things moved along, she seemed to get into the interview and answered most of her own questions. She was a pleasure to converse with. :) Scr0ll and Foly2 has been playing euchre together for about a year now. Foly2's daughter chose her name since it means fun in French (or it means madness - we're not sure which - LOL). Scr0ll tells us he got his name off of the keyboard when a site shut him down on all the other names he chose. Some other names Foly2 uses are Lucille and Gallia (at other sites), while Scr0ll uses Scroll2 and scr0ll and skroll (don't think anyone would put that together do you???). Foly2 is from Quebec City in Canada (thus the French) and Scr0ll is from Detroit, Michigan. Foly2 is married with two children (Steeve/30 and Manon/23) and is 50 years young. She works at a technical organisation school. Scr0ll is married with one daughter (Marylee/28) and is45 years young. He is an Automated Systems Technician. Foly2 likes to play golf and go to concerts and summer theatre when she's not playing euchre or working. When asked what her handicap was, Scr0ll said, "English." Bad, Bad Scr0ll!" Scr0ll likes to travel, work on his computer, and he goes to auctions and buys cars and then sells them. Scr0ll tells us, "Foly is fantastic and she's MY pard and a great ....super friend!" I still see Foly smiling. Foly2 has been playing euchre about 39 years, though only one year online. Scr0ll has been playing about 30 years. When asked how they happened to win, Scroll told us, "ICQ." ooooops, should he have mentioned that? LOL. Nawwww, not really ... they just played hard and Foly tells us that the games were very good and tough ones tonight! When asked if they'd like to brag about their win, Scroll said, "I don't brag ... LOL ... don't need to brag......I'm too good for that." LOL. When asked if there was anything else they'd like to see in print, Scr0ll said, "the next winning lottery numbers." Such a funny guy!!
