Ptrish . . . from her INN days . . . ;))) Bruce . . . from his INN days . . . ;)))   BruceM1 . . . he even looks like a BRAT!!! LOL!!!

In an intense night of euchre playing, the winners of the Friday Night Partners' Euchre Tourney are Ptrish & BruceM1. They rubbed elbows with angtman & ConnieB and came up victorious. Kaliki got out Jo's special chains and whips and Jo began the interview (due to Sizz being extremely sick with a cold her hubby gave her). Ptrish and Bruce have been playing together as pards for a couple years - since the INN days. Though Bruce has partnered with various family members (Sizz & Kaliki), his favorite is Ptrish. Ptrish just says he's fickle. They chose they're GPP names because it reflects who they are (BruceM1 = Bruce; Ptrish = Pat). LOL. No imagination there. Bruce confessed that he really thinks the Tourney Staff does a wonderful job and Ptrish says it's fun playing here and the newsletter is really fun to read. (Pat yourselves on the back Staff.) When asked if they could have any job in the world, Bruce told us he wanted to be Kaliki's pilot (and he grinned evilly while saying that) and Ptrish said she'd rather be retired with a great pension. Ptrish tells us that she's originally from Pennsylvania but now lives in Delaware (with her wonderful, sexy husband, Richard). Actually she said she was born in the ocean, but we know better. What does she think she is a mermaid??? Ptrish and Richard will celebrate their 13th wedding anniversary this week. Ptrish has three daughters (Denise/34, Carol/32, and Jodi/29) and they are all married - Thank God! (a quote from Ptrish). Ptrish is a computer assistant and works for the Federal Government. Bruce, who's 40, tells us he was born from his parents into a state of confusion. Now we see what the trouble is - he's a wiseguy! Actually he says he claims no state since his parents drug him around all of his life from state to state to state. I think now that would be called - child abuse. LOL. He now lives in Rhode Island with his lovely wife, Pat, and son, Jon. They've been married 19.5 years. His son is 16 (going on 10) and is an assistant trader with the Boy Scouts. Bruce works in network administration. Ptrish would like us to visit www.sendmoney.com because she loves to shop and needs the money to keep her happy. Bruce tells us that Boy Scouts takes up most of his free time. Ptrish's favorite movie is "An Affair to Remember" and that she's seen it 300 times. Bruce likes the movie "Star Wars" and enjoys sci-fi books with his favorite author being Anne McCaffrey. His favorite music is the early 60's thru the early 80's with his favorite group being Boston. Ptrish likes rock and roll, not that she was around then, but someone told her it was good to listen to. She tells us her favorite singer is Mel Gibson ... but wait ... he doesn't sing ... and she says he doesn't have to! Bruce tells us he loves to have a Pepsi while playing online, whereas Ptrish says she's hooked on teenie beenies, except the coffee flavored ones. Ptrish tells us that Bruce taught her how to play euchre about three years ago and Bruce says that Kaliki taught him how to play about four years ago. When asked if they had screamed at their monitor tonight, Bruce admitted he screamed, "NOT EUCHRED AGAIN :-(" whereas Ptrish said she yelled, "If you blow this hand your ass is grass!" When asked how they happened to win, Ptrish said they're still trying to figure that out. Bruce claims that he just closed his eyes whenever Ptrish bid. She tells us that the most important trait in a euchre partner is never to be gun-shy when ordering trump and Bruce said just order it up based on your hand and pray your partner can take at least three. LOL. He also says to never play with real cards - some people can't handle what you say during a game. Hey Ptrish - is he referring to us???? LOL. Out of character, Bruce thanked the hosts for putting on the tourney week after week. He said they make online time very enjoyable. (I think I noted tears in Kaliki's & Jo's eyes.) Ptrish said when he wins he gets soft. (No, I better not touch THAT one.) Ptrish tells us her most embarrassing online moment is when she discards a jack when her partner orders it up. She says she tries to keep her pard from finding it out. Bruce tells us to always have fun when you play and Ptrish adds, "don't take anything too seriously." Bruce's last comment was directed at another team - QuietLady & Steven2u (otherwise known as QLS), "TO QLS: NEENER NEENER NEENER........WE WON!" Ptrish just said to keep up the good work and thanked everyone for their time and effort that goes into putting on a tourney. (JoAnneP) WOW!!! Y'all won . . . and Bruce was soooooooo well behaved . . . I'm shocked!!! GREAT JOB BRUCE & PTRISH --- WAY TO GO!

The winners in the Consolation Tourney were jxrly & Athena1. They edged out runners-up Baddly & Specialty for this win. When asked to stay around for their interview, jrxly commented, "Sheehs everyone already knows I am lonely, need a man, and have 13 grandkids - what else could anyone want to know?" LOL. Tonight was the first time these two partnered - but I guess the first time is the charm here. jrxly's usual partner is Whiz, but he dissed her. Athena's usual partner is Josh or Precious. jrxly chose this name because her husband wouldn't let her have her real nickname "Beaver" and that's why he's no longer her husband. Athena chose hers because she's the goddess of wisdom except when playing euchre. Athena also goes by Desiree sometimes. Jrxly used to use smoke and her pard's nickname was smokeater. If they could have any job in the world, Athena would be a nature photographer for National Geographic. She loves the outdoors and photography. jrxly would want to work for The Children's Wish Foundation. Jrxly, who is 48, is originally from Pennsylvania (after she came from her mother) and now resides in Ohio. She gave her address and said the door's never locked - but we're not passing on that information to everyone on the net. LOL. She has been married for 21 years, but is presently separated. She has six children, ranging in ages from 16 to 27. She said that by having six kids in eight years that she didn't have PMS for almost seven straight years. Ptrish would rather have the PMS. LOL. She is a cashier/assistant manager for a grocery store. Jrxly would like us all to visit rockinwoman.com - she has great oldies waves. Athena, who admits to being over 30, is from underneath a rock and from the temple of wisdom. She tells us Zeus is her father. Athena says she now lives inside of her computer. She is single and just picks up after jrxly throws them away. She tells us she's a playgirl - she plays games. When asked what they like to do when not working or playing euchre, jrxly tells us she loves football, fishing, camping, and slow dancing. Athena likes photography, playing games, hiking, playing games, biking, playing games, reading, playing games (see a pattern here?). Jrxly's pet peeve is someone taking the fun out of euchre. Some people think winning is most important, when the actual playing is the fun part. Athena says her pet peeve is getting euchred more than three times in a game. LOL. Athena's favorite authors are Douglas Adams and Robertson Davies; she likes the music of the 60's (rock and roll), classical, easy listening, and Love Songs. jrxly's favorite book is "The Physicians;" her favorite movies are "Lethal Weapon" and "Sound of Music." Her favorite music is country western and oldies. Jrxly has been playing euchre all her life. Athena has been playing for almost a year. When asked if they screamed at their monitor tonight, they both admitted they did. Athena screamed, "WOW I can't believe how she covers for my gutsy (dumb) calls wowowwowowow." jrxly screamed, "I am ordering on shit again; please don't lead trump and take my only one pard!!" When asked how they happened to win tonight, jrxly admits to using ICQ (she always admits that) but then admitted it was her skill that helped them win. Athena said she just called it and hoped partner could take three tricks. jrxly said to never be gun-shy when ordering trump and always try a loner with a king or queen loser - sometimes it walks. Athena says, "It feels very nice to be able to play here and meet all of you very nice people THANKS!" jrxly follows up with, "Thanks you two - you all here have made life worth smiling about the minute I turn my puter on." When asked about their most embarrassing moment, jrxly said we wouldn't believe it but when she was nursing her son, her sister smarted off so she squirted her with a good long stream of breast milk - and in walked the milkman. ROFLMAO. When asked for any words of wisdom, jrxly suggested we walk in another person's shoes before judging them. Kaliki confirmed this with saying it's better not to judge them at all. Athena tells us that kindness is more important than wisdom and the recognition of this is the beginning of wisdom. GREAT JOB JRXLY & ATHENA - YOU GO GIRLS!
