The 26 teams trying for a win at Friday Night's Partners' Euchre Tourney came to an end when EUCHem and travelman took that honor. EUCHem, with her eyes so brown, was born in California. She's married and has three girls (Jennifer, Katie, and Lisa), ranging from 16 to 19 years old. Travelman, with his eyes of blue, tells us he was born in a hospital at the end of the world. He's married and has one son, Nick, who's 19. EUCHem works in the Day Care profession, while travelman works "as little as possible." When she's not working or playing euchre, EUCHem likes to play spades and she goes to school at nights - for fun. She's got a 3.82 gpa. travelman likes to play other computer games. When asked what she wanted to be when she grows up, EUCHem stated, "Alive." LOL. EUCHem's favorite movie is "Braveheart;" favorite song is "The Dance" by Garth Brooks; and favorite color is black. travelman's favorite TV show is "NYPD Blue" and his favorite color is red. EUCHem tells us she's had her nickname a long time. She just made it up. Travelman tells us he's used his since he started at Westwood/Games People Play. He chose his because he's a travel agent (which he does "as little as possible"). She's been playing euchre for about a year and a half, while he's been playing since high school. They have been partnering together "forever" or at least since INN closed (which seems like forever). EUCHem was "Nil" on INN and, of course, that means she's a spades player. They won the tourney tonight out of "chit luck" and because the opponents were "greedy baaastads," they euchred them alot. Travelman says it's also because he taught her everything she knows about euchre. When asked for any tips or strategies, EUCHem said, "When you know they're using ICQ, tell them to turn it off - it shakes 'em up." Travelman advises, "Get to 10 before the other team." When asked for any words of wisdom, travelman said he's not old enough to have words of wisdom, but at the beginning of the interview he said he was "old." Alzheimers kicking in, perhaps? LOL. The Consolation Tourney was won by none other than GPP's finest - Pam & LisaG! Pam told us, "If it wasn't for JoAnne's incessant snide comments, I never would have made it to the winners circle. She simply gave me a reason to finally come out of this triumphant." LOL. Pam, who has blue eyes, is 35 years young, was born in Sacramento, CA and now lives in Texas with her fabulous husband of 13 years. She has three children (Stephanie/9, Deanna/7, and Steve/42). Wait - Steve is the husband, Pam! LOL. LisaG has brown eyes, is 34 years young, and was born in Michigan and still lives there (but she hates it). She's married and has two brats (Jennifer/14 and Kenneth/12). Lisa works for a small family restaurant. (And Greg wanted to know if it was a restaurant for midgets, while Kaliki stated, "Wow ... a special restaurant for small families.") The nuts! Pam works part-time for an internet provider and the remainder of her time she works for Games People Play (GPP - get it?). When she's not working, Pam likes to read. Lisa doesn't have any hobbies - too busy taking care of the "brats." Pam's favorite movies are "Goodfellows," "The Godfather," and "Dances With Wolves." Her favorite TV shows are "Frasier" and "The Andy Griffith Show," but only the ones when Barney was on there. Her favorite song is "Biko" by Peter Gabriel (or anything by him) and her favorite colors are puce and blue. Lisa's favorite movie is "Home Alone;" favorite TV show is "ER;" favorite song is "What If Jesus Comes Back Like That" by Collin Ray; and favorite color is purple. Pam chose her nickname "gppPam" because "Pam" wasn't available, so they cloned all who work for them as "gpp____." Lisa said she used to be just LisaG until then. Pam also uses Grumple, MadameX, and was using MsLunatic until someone stole it. Lisa sometimes uses StormyDay. Pam has been playing euchre for about three months, while Lisa's been playing for 20 years. They've been regular partners in Euchre for about three months. Pam was either PamR or PamS on INN. You go, girl! Pam wanted to brag about Lisa partnering her, as she's such a euchre newbie. Lisa thanked Pam and told her she enjoyed partnering with her, too. And then Pam wanted to harass JoAnne! "She's a bully and one of my very favorite online people ... I love ya Jo ... but I will NOT hug." Pam told us to remember that while competition is a good thing, this is also about entertainment. We have updated last week's newsletter to include Burkee's picture . . . we had problems reading it originally!! You really should check it out . . . she's a cutie!!! ;)))

This week we had a lot of people milling around the lobby after they were out of the tourney and finished with their matches. They wanted to play some more euchre!! LOL!!! We decided it might a good idea to put them all to work (before they started an all-out revolt) so we gave them a chance to win ONE last time!!! Thus was born the Special "Steel Cage" Losers' Match!! ;)))) Here are pictures of the participants:

They came out swinging but in the end only two of them were standing!! And the winners of the Special "Steel Cage" Losers' Match were . . . (a drum roll please) . . . Jenn26 and Viltran!!! Y'all know what this means right??? It means that Jenn and Viltran actually won SOMETHING!!! LOL!!! Unfortunately, it also means that BuddFoxx and Meis were the losers of the Losers' Match . . . but don't let that hurt your fragile male egos . . . we all still love you guys!!! ;)))))  CONGRATULATIONS, JENN and VIL!!! ;))))

We want to thank Sizz, as usual, for her GREAT interviews!!! ;))))  We also should thank Bruce for doing all the lobby chat this week!! (Notice we didn't say we WANTED to thank him!!!
