The winners of the Consolation Tourney were slvrball & PETEYB61. They galloped over CalamityS & billherm for this win. PETEY, who has brown eyes, is 36 years old, was born in Newport, RI and now lives in Normal, IL. (But ... is he?) LOL. My "Assistant" Myst also lives in IL. PETEY is married and has three children (a 2-yr old boy and 4-mo. old twin girls). PETEY asked the question, "What is sleep?" I hate to tell ya Petey, but don't plan on much of it for about 20 years or so. PETEY is a Bldg. Service Foreman at Illinois State and he enjoys it most of the time. In fact, he was on his lunch break to do the tourney and interview. Long lunch break, huh? Slvrball, who also has brown eyes, is 54 years old, was born in Jackson, MI and now lives in Oklahoma City, OK. Slvrball has a darling granddaughter who's 5 years old. Slvrball is a retired pinball technician. We're all gonna go visit and play his pinball machines. Slvrball enjoys playing pinball (naturally) and spades. PETEY says he usually is watching the rugrats (the kids) and sports. When I told him that "Rugrats" was a cartoon, he told us that his household is a cartoon sometimes. Just sometimes??? With three kids under the age of 3? If they could travel anywhere, PETEY tells us he'd like to go to Germany and visit his best friend. They joined the Army together, but his friend stayed over in Germany. Slvrball is happy where he is (has been all over the world) and would just like to relax and fish in Colorado. If they could invite anyone to dinner (living or deceased), slvrball tells us he'd invite his Dad. He's been gone since 1970 and they'd have a lot to catch up on. PETEY told us he'd invite his wife (because she was sitting there, and if he didn't say her he'd be in BIG trouble) , but I promised she could go, too, so he said he'd love to dine with Michael Jordan or Troy Aikman. Slvrball's favorite color is blue; favorite TV Show is "Star Trek;" favorite song is "Kisses Sweeter Than Wine;" favorite movie is "Godfather." PETEY's favorite color is blue; favorite TV Show is "NFL on Fox;" favorite song is "Kasmir" by Led Zepplin; favorite movie is "Scarface." PETEY has been playing euchre for 19 years, while slvrball has been playing 40+ years (hey, almost as long as I've been alive!). If we asked a friend to describe these gentlemen, they think they're friend would describe them as "cool" (PETEY) and "a good guy" (slvrball). Slvrball doesn't have a regular partner in euchre. PETEY usually plays with Precious during non- tourney euchre. They tell us they won tonight because they're GOOD and had some luck. Slvrball and PETEY agree that you should play to win and have FUN! PETEY tells us his very first memory is of him and his dad fishing. He said he also remembers that when the dog barked, he climbed up on his dad's back. (Must have been a BIG dog!). Slvrball says he remembers going deer hunting with his dad. CONGRATS YOU TWO - YOU DONE GOOD!

We're sorry but the tourney has to be canceled for this week. Sizz, Jo, Greg, and Bruce will all be away this weekend (actually Sizz will be away for two weeks on vacation . . . we'll miss you, Sizz)!! So, the next tourney will be on September 25th!!
