There were 24 teams competing in the Friday night Partners' Euchre Tourney but only one came out on top. That one team was Baddly and Kambi!! The pair edged out runners-up LONGITUDE and tinyone (thanks for filling in, tinyone!!) in the final match of their victory.  These two are no strangers to the winners' circle and so humbly declined to be interviewed again. However, we do have their previous wins on record . . . to peruse these prior newsletters, simply click on the following links:  3/27/98 - Baddly won the consolation tourney with Ugotme as his pard.  6/5/98 - They won the main tourney together.  7/10/98 - They won the consolation tourney together.  7/17/98 - They won the main tourney together.  10/2/98 - Kambi won the main tourney with Gidget as her pard.

The winners of the Consolation Tourney were janni55 & KlyKey. They edged out runners-up RoseBudd and K100234 for the victory dance. They have both won before, and KlyKey declined the chance to be interviewed again (his wife needed to use the phone). But janni was eager to answer our questions again ... so let it begin. Janni, who is 43 and has blue/green eyes, was born in Toledo, Ohio and now resides in Pemberville, Ohio. She's been married to her wonderful husband for six years. She has one son (Ryan/14). Ryan won the Suburban Lakes League track meet, and she's such a proud mama. Janni is a school bus driver/teachers' aid (for the last 4 years) and really enjoys it. When she's not working, janni enjoys bowling, golfing, sewing, playing volleyball or softball. Janni doesn't have a favorite movie, but does enjoy "Annie." Her favorite TV show is "I Love Lucy;" favorite color is blue; and her favorite drink is a tequilla rose with a diet coke chaser. She really likes Vince Gill, but we're not saying why. :) Janni chose her nickname because Jan is her name - how very original. LOL. She's been playing euchre for about 25 years. Besides Westwood, she chats on ICQ and Qtalk. If janni won the lottery, the first thing she'd do is throw the biggest and best party at Westwood and invite all of us. Janni tells us she and KlyKey won tonight because the cards were very lucky for them (after she paid the euchre gods well). She and Klykey have partnered together for a couple of tourneys, but she plays with lots of people.
