Recent media reports have highlighted a new variation of an e-mail virus infecting computers worldwide.

We have received reports that some customers may have received an e-mail appearing to come from our CNY Road Runner Customer Newsletter e-mail address. This e-mail may have contained a virus as an attachment.

While the virus has the capability of randomly switching the e-mail "Subject" line, the one brought to our attention may say, "Undeliverable mail-"visit our sponsors."" It may also have RR_News@twcny.rr.com as its "From" address. We continue to investigate the origin of this infected e-mail.
