Edward III (me): "Do not take the car back to Uncle John Doe (name changed) he is a moron"
Edward SR. (grandpa dukes): Uncle John Doe will get the car fixed. It is the other guys at the shop that do not know what they are doing. He said he is going to do it personally.
Edward III: "Ok grandpa, do not say that I did not warn you"
So anyway John fixed the car, to my surprise neither the check engine, nor the battery light was on. I had to say that I was pretty shocked. He was actually able to fix the car. Marvin road in the car too. Everyone from Edward I- Edward III was happy. As most know my family never stays happy for that long.
8:00 Sunday April 22
Mike was at my house abusing the wall around my dart board creating new slogans like, "See I am getting warmed up" "I had to remove Guile (my dog) from the room for fear he would be killed. So my mother comes home and tells me to come downstairs because she has some bad news. I thought someone had died.
"Whats up? Mom"
Well I was driving to CVS and I notice that the car was making a funny smell. So I get there and I start walking into the door when someone tells me that the car is on fire.
Ed: "John's trying to kill us"
So I run to the car and see that the hood is like bubbling over. So I was not sure what to do the car was on fire so someone thought I should call the police so I did. Suddenly the fire truck came and 8 firemen were opening the hood of the car. We found that the engine was on fire.
Ed: "The boat, John sabotaged the boat. Mike we have to go and check it out"
So Mike and I ran to my grandmothers house. We were ready to see the car my mother described as a gutted flaming wreck. As you know Apo-Net stories are 100% true. The truth is the hood looked bad and the engine looked damaged, but the Apo-Net writing staff is skilled at all types of trickery so we have modified Mikes quote of
"I thought It was going to see a flaming wreck."
To
".............It was ................... a flaming wreck"
to
"IT WAS A FLAMING WRECK!"
So now you know not only what happened to my Boat you also know how Apo-Net stories become more classic through revision.
