Issue 9.0-9.1

Snow Days??

What is up withthe weathermen lately. When the weather is regular they are just called "weathermen", but when a big storm is a'comin they get titles like"Chief Meteorologist". That is what you call a battlefield promotion. Unforunatly no matter what the heck you call them them they still do not know what they are talking about. Two days ago they called for "light fluries no accumulation" and even though the snow was sticking they were too proud to change thier stories. As the snow was piling up they kept saying "no accumulation" over and over again.

And what happened on that "Snow Day" where it was not snowing? Half of the people looked out the window, saw no snow and then went to school. They get there to find out that school has been canceled. That is putting way to much faith in "Chief Meteorologist"

"I made it all the way to school it takes me an hour, I find out no school so I stay a while" -Marvin

"I knew their was no school. Biaytch! " -Mike (.....my mom told me)

"This snow day is whack I am going to write an issue about it!!!  " - Ed

Now I am at my friends house and we were going to go to the community lounge where they have a phat pool table, but what happened? "Recreation area cloesed due to the blizzard" . But there was barely any snow on the ground.

You see I just figured it out.

When the weather is nice the weathermen dont get any play for example..

John: Its going to be a beutiful.....

Gary: Thanks John now onto the market wrap up

But when the weatherman turn into chief meteorologist your regular news show turns into this.

John: OH HANG ON TO YOUR SEATS GARY THIS IS GOING TO BE THE MOTHER OF ALL STORMS.. 7.8 on the RICTER SCALE!!!!!

Gary: but John its not a earthqua...

John: Holy GEEZ i am live right now ontop of the EMPIRE STATE Building where the Mind Numbing wind Chill factor is Making my teeth chatter!!! (50 degrees  approx). WOW did you feel that gust?? My wind-o-meter measured that at over 50 Miles per hour. Lets get out the weather chopper....LASER...

I mean who can blame them? I mean NO ONE!! listens to WFAS except to find out when they have to go to school. NO ONE!! and no one gives a crap about a weatheman unless its going to snow so who can blame them for being a bit overly dramatic.
