Just say No to CS

(ok this joke is getting old better write it down before I kill it)

It came to me while I was online tonight my hands were shaking because I could not type in a chat room fast enough and then it hit me.

Think about what you are doing by becoming a CS major. I mean look at professor G. He has been using that Fortran for what decade? He is hooked on it. Mangonleli has been programming for so long he needs Java just to get though the day. All of you know Rider's problems with VB, that stuff is nuts. Look what it did to him! Findley was into C a little but when C++ came around she got hooked...BAD..

What I am trying to tell you is you don't want to get involved in this stuff! Have you even seen someone hooked on Cobol? I am telling you its a sad sad thing.

Now we have all taken the gateway class...Intro... Don't let this go any further. Get help for yourself before its too late.

Also here is a list of other classes that you only take because you are addicted.

Computer Arch.- IF you are taking this class you are an expert on the problem yourself. You know exactly how these "classes" work

Programming logic- this gets into the logistics of the game, how to design programs to get others hooked. all the pushers take this class.

Any calc above 2- programming has hit you so hard and mangled your mind to the point where you can do this stuff. And derive satisfaction from it.

Assembler- You are so into "programming" even punishing languages give you pleasure. You are a masochist.

Pascal- Same story as FORTRAN. Now a days this is a less powerful addiction then JAVA or CPP but still very dangerous.

Database- Even SQL will give you a fix. This is similar to sniffing lead paint in the computer world.
