You know you chat online too often when (top 10)

10. When someone tells you a joke and it is funny, but instead of laughing you say "LOL" . This is outside talking to friend, not online. You also say "LOL" when things are slightly funny, or ironic thus defeating the purpose of saying Laugh Out Loud.

9. You are writing an essay (like the one I owe for American Politics) and you make a typo spelling "Govrnment" so instead of going back and fixing it you hit enter and on the next line you put

and one of those damn smiley faces.

8 The black letters on your keyboard begin to wear away. And since you never learned how to touch type you have your eyes two inches from the keyboard trying to read the barely visible letters.

7 The doorbell in your house rings and you instinctively run to you computer confusing the bell with the Instant Messages

6 You inhabit sites like College club etc and instead of meeting people at your college you chat away with people from the university of Alaska who like your pic.

5. You go online and into away mode just incase an important message might come. Meanwhile anyone who calls your house gets a busy signal.

4. Your computer chair is molded to fit only you. Anyone else in it slips to one side of the other.

3. You have those chat friend of yours with similar interests. The only problem is that your similar interest is all you talk about and now its getting very played out.

2 You have icq, MSN, instant messenger, yahoo messenger, you have an IRC chat program with 4 separate rooms open and you want to talk to EVERY LAST PERSON who is online.

And the number one reason is.....

1. You have a web site that has message boards and chat room etc. You don't know what to put on it, so you get "great" ideas like this while seconds tick off you life.
