Its pretty easy to get a Gold Chocobo, just time & money consuming. Some quick tips before we start, always save before breeding the chocobos. This is in case you don't get the right type or gender of the chocobo. If that happens, you can just reset and try again. Another thing that will make Chocobo breeding alot less expensive is if you have the W-item Materia. This is so you can by 2 each of the best greens and then give yourself as much as you want by using the W-item trick.{See tips to see how to do it}. Also by all 6 stables. Now, go to the tracks near Mideel and capture 2 wonderful Chocobos of the opposite gender. Then go to the tracks near the Gold Saucer and capture two good chocobos of the opposite gender. Breed them using a Carob nut, which you steal from a dinosaur looking monster by the snow lodge.{It's on a peninsula with green grass near the Chocobo tracks.} You should get a river Chocobo and a Mountain Chocobo, both of opposite gender. If you have trouble breeding opposite genders, try feeding one chocobo alot of greens and the other nothing. Release the Chocobo's you just used to free up space. Then, take the green and blue Chocobos to the Gold Saucer and race them to S-class. Get there stats up by feeding them Reagan and Sylkis greens. After you've done that, breed the two using another Carob Nut and you should get a Black Chocobo. After this, go two the tracks near the snow lodge and catch a wonderful Chocobo, opposite gender of your black chocobo. Take them to the Gold Saucer and race them to S class. Then go back and breed them using a Zeio nut. You can get this on one of the islands in the extreme North by stealing them from the Goblins in the forest. Doing this should get you a Gold Chocobo, which means you can go anywhere on the World Map.
