The Extermination Squad |
Established some time in 1996 by myself and Jubei/Erised, 'The Extermination Squad started out as a small Quake 2 and StarCraft clan. It didn't work out. Gaining any sort of popularity in the Quake 2 scene was near impossible, and the number of 'clan hoppers' we met on Battle.net didn't help us to gain a decent following. Some time later, we branched out to Shogo : Mobile Armor Division. Again, we couldn't get too many people, so we left it behind, along with Quake 2. Around this time, Jubei was able to get a few of our friends to join. They gained a name for the clan, and began some strict recruiting.
While said friends have moved on to different things, the clan maintains a strong, loyal, and well known 'Battle.net Division'. The 'newer' part of the clan is the Counter-Strike division, which has a good reputation among the servers we play in, and the clans that frequent those servers. We don't tolerate idiocy, and are proud that few arguements take place between any of us. That's all. See you online. |

In case you are, we rarely accept anyone into the clan right away. The people we let in are those that we've played with and have gotten to know to some degree. I don't play StarCraft much anymore, but we have plenty of people that do. Head for the channels 'clearnet' or 'Public Chat tEs' on the U.S. West server, and if you're lucky you'll run into someone. As for Counter-Strike, recruiting is a little more strict, but if for some reason you're really interested, check out Landing-Zone.net or Rivalution.net for a few servers we like to play in. |

Alliances - Alliances will be turned down. We see no point in having them when gaming clans are concerned. Keeping the clan small - Early on, we learned that managing a big clan well is difficult. It's harder to keep in touch with everyone, and more people means a bigger chance of arguements. We take the best players and keep them in check. |
